Re: Log File Question

Hi @skipudude,

Welcome to the community! 🙂

Let me share the forum links below as reference:

SRX5308: "Quantum of Class" message in the logs

"quantum of class 10001 is big"

Kindly answer the questions below:

a. Are you having intermittent internet connection through the SRX5308?  If not, what problem(s) are you experiencing using the SRX5308?

b. How is everything connected? It would be best to post an image or screenshot of your detailed network setup.

c. What is the current firmware version of your SRX5308?

For the logs to be interpreted, you will need to open a chat or online case with NETGEAR Support.  Then, it will be forwarded to the engineering team for the logs to be thoroughly investigated and analyzed.

Re: Log File Question

@skipudude,

Thanks for the feedback.  Its nice to know that you are not experiencing any problems. 🙂

You may want to upgrade the firmware of the SRX5308 to the latest v4.3.5-3.  You can download the latest firmware v4.3.5-3 here.  Be reminded to perform a factory reset on the SRX5308 after upgrading the firmware then reconfigure the settings from scratch in order to start clean using the latest firmware version.

Re: Log File Question

@skipudude,

I just want to follow-up on this.  Were you able to perform my suggestion?  If yes, do the same logs show up?

Re: Log File Question

No, I have not been able to follow up on your suggestion. I'm a little nervous about updating the Firmware as I am a newbie and don't want to mess anything up.  I was just wanting to find out what the log file was saying and if there was anything I needed to know.
