Multiple power interruptions causes factory reset - Happened Again
9 months ago, I started a thread on how we had multiple short power interruptions which cause the BR500 to completely factory reset. Supposedly this was caused by an issue in an earlier Firmware and some NAND issue. And Supposed after a tech went into my system, they "fixed" it.
Well, it hapened again last night. This morning, my wife could not access any printers and was having problems. I saw she had a 192.168.1.X IPV4 address. I finally remembered this happened 9 months ago. Complete reset including the password being reset to default. THIS IS A SECURITY ISSUE.
Original Thread. This means the "FIX" did not "FIX" it. One thing after another with this router series. I had years and years of great service with the FVS series of routers. These BR500s are nothing but trouble.
