Netgear FVS338 service blocking help
I want to block all ports connecting outbound to the internet for a specific ip. Under outbound services I have choices to select any or individual predefined services or user added services.
Do you know if any service type only Includes specific predefined ports and user defined ports or if any is effectively ports 1-65555?

Re: Netgear FVS338 service blocking help
Hi @proudx,
Selecting "ANY" as the Service when setting an Outbound Service Rule will either allow or block any service on the IP address you specify it to.
For more information, please refer to page 4-8 on the user manual here.
Another thing you can try is to set the "Default Outbound Policy" to Block Always but you'll have to configure traffic rules to allow certain ports going out from the LAN to the Internet.
