Pro safe VPN client config

Hello, Is there a guide out there that displays specific setup rather than just giving you each option that is avaiable to configure? I have followed the VPN client guide and setup several times and i still cannot connect o VPN 

The connect times out and gives up.

Followed this and got the VPN connection working, but have one issue now. It will only connect 1 time after configuring. After first connection and the tunnel disconnects  I have to toggle the Encryption and Authentication between auto and 3des and sha-1 on the IPsec page and the Authentication page. Has anyone every experienced something like this?

Are you using the ProSAFE VPN Client Lite software or the ProSAFE VPN Client Professional software?  Please indicate the current version you are using. 

Not sure if this will help.  Kindly check the SA Lifetime values as well.  Let me share these old forum links that might help as reference:
