SRX5308 bootloader checksum error

I got the test-light-of-death on this box out of no where, the box bricked hours after making a change to the reboot schedule. the device does not respond at all from any network interface. Connecting to the console port, it is clear that something corrupted the onboard OS image, there is a checksum error;

U-Boot 1.1.1 (Development build, svnversion: exported) (Build time: Jan  6 2011 - 16:15:26)

Checksum error!!

I would imagine the box could be recovered with a tftp load via the console. Is there a procedure and the proper files available to un-brick this box?

So far, there is no procedure to unbrick the SRX5308.  You will need to replace it.
