VPN connection between 2 Netgear SRX5308 seem to be intermittently dropping
This location has a IP phone gateway that is connection via VPN to remote location using two ProSafe SRX5308.
Lately we have drop outs during calls to remote location, not here at source.
On both devices I see:
Have the latest Firmware 4.3.5-3
VPN - connection status
IPSEC SA IS EXPIRING

Hi Sspe,
Welcome t our community! 🙂
It seems that your VPN connection is expiring. May you be able to try increasing the SA-lifetime(sec) under VPN > IPSec VPN? Let us see if it will still expire.

Re: VPN connection between 2 Netgear SRX5308 seem to be intermittently dropping
You may go to VPN > Connection Status > IPSec VPN Connection Status or you can manually test it by sending a ping request to the remote location.
If ever your concern has been addressed or resolved, I encourage you to mark the appropriate reply as the “Accepted Solution” so others can be confident in benefiting from the solution. The NETGEAR Community looks forward to hearing from you and being a helpful resource in the future!
