connecting windows 7 media center to a FVS318N

I am trying to connect my windows 7 media center computer as a client  to my Prosafe router.  My other router just died and I had this never opened router sitting around .  Ive been trying to set the router as a L2TP server (my last router had PtPP)  but I played with it for a while and it seems after googeling it many others have had issues also .  is there anyone who has had success?

Thank you

Hi @KENDQ,

Not sure if you have came across with the article below:

Configuring an L2TP VPN Tunnel to ProSAFE/ProSECURE routers

Also, let me share this old forum thread below and it might help:

Yes

The artical is what I used when I first set it up.  I did see the the post you also recomended and while I scanned it I will go over it again.  It seemed like parts of it may be over my level But I will chec it out again.  Do you know if anyone had success useing theFVS318N  as a VPN passthru server using the windows application (not 3rd party)

Thank you for the help it is appreciated
