integrating FVS318N-100EUS Router into network (dhcp, dns, ipadress conflict)
Hello,
what was wrong:
I replaced old ADSL Router/Firewall/WLAN/VPN Gateway with Netgear
FVS318N-100EUS (dhcp off, DNS Proxy = default = ON)
DHCP / internal DNS is served by Windows Domain-Ctrl.
I noticed that iPhones didn´t get a IP vom DHCP. So I activated DHCP Relay (with windows server ip) and went home without testing due to time-pressure.
Next Day - the Client PCs claim "ip adress conflict" at the windows login screen and whole network haven´t got WAN, LAN. (unclear)
I replaced with old router and will go next week onsite clear error.
What was the problem? thank you in advance
best regards

Perhaps my fault was the "avm fritz reapeter 300e" which act has a WLAN AP (but it has no own DHCP Server)
My next Idea - active DHCP on Netgear for Range 192.165.5.230 - 250 and remove this range from the "original - main windows dhcp server"

Do not run 2 DHCP servers on the same LAN. You will create an issue.
Which firmware is on the 318?
