Allow Insight to support devices not on the same subnet as the device running Insight.

Assuming Insight relies on some abilty to locally connect to a registered device, then if the device on which Insight is running and the registered Netgear device are not on the same subnet, then Insight will likely be unable to connect to the device.  To remedy this, a couple of ideas:

  1. Allow the Netgear device to report its local IP address to the cloud and allow the Insight app to retrieve this address so that it can then reach the device.
  2. Allow the Insight user to manually enter the local IP address of the device so that Insight can reach it.
