Allow VLAN tagging on WAN port

In the Netherlands it is common practice for residential fibre internet that the fibre media is shared allong multiple ISPs.

Different ISP's use there own VLAN tag to provide internet services.

With the BR500 it is not possible to use VLAN tagging on the "internal" LAN network and use VLAN tagging on the "external" WAN network at the same time.

I now have two options. Use the **bleep**ty router supplied bij the ISP with the BR500 configured in the DMZ or to offer up two ethernet ports on my switch to untag the WAN traffic and this is a waste of ports. So both are not the best options!

Please add the WAN vlan tagging feature to the BR500. Please buy a Fortigate (60E for example) and have a good look on how this UTM device can be configured with the option to create "zones" for WAN, LAN, WIFI or whatever and assign, physical interfaces of VLAN interfaces to a zone. Firewall rules or traffic shaping rules are then applies to the zones. This makes it very easy to add or remove subnets from a network without having to reconfigure the entire firewall!
