Basic Guest Network Functionality within a WAX6x0 Environment
Greetings.
This request is fairly straightforward, but could add great value for a small business user without a dedicated IT function. More specifically, it would be beneficial to add basic guest network functionality with a separate IP address range to the WAX6x0 family of products since this is the primary differentiator between most readily available home office/SMB mesh systems and the WAX6x0.
With the current iteration of the firmware, a user is forced to create a new dedicated VLAN and associated address range at the router to pass to the WAX6x0 to gain such functionality. This may seem straightforward to many in the community, but the price point of the WAX6x0 series will attract users that simply do not have the IT support or background to implement the upstream changes needed to successfully segregate guest traffic to a separate VLAN.
Thank you.
