IKEv2 support in SRX5308

Basically, IKEv1 has major flaws and is vulnerable to protocol analysis, espiecially in Aggresive mode. Also, IKEv2 is only one supported natively by "recent" Windows versions.

Netgear does not have product that supports IKev2. I've been waiting for years for them to add this feature to their high-end firewalls or come up with a new firewall that supports it. You can always buy a CISCO ASA product with IKEv2 already built-in. The problem is you have to be an expert to be able to configure it and it is pretty complicated device. 

 

I love to hear from Netgear announcing a timeline when they are going to support it.
