I don't think this is possible, as I've not found a way to do this at all, but in the Clients tab, I have a growling list of disconnected clients that just won't even be here again - some clients were transitory - so how does this list get managed so that clients which are no longer of any interested can be removed instead of this growing into a monster database table? Can NetGlear place a button to remove discovered disconnected clients since if they appear again, they will just be rediscovered to keep the client's table running quick/smooth without unnecessary data from transient clients?

Please take off the restriction that Insighht will only show Ethernet wired clients that are LLDP enabled. There should be a way to find the mac address of a device and other relevant information like it's assigned IP address, and which Switch it may be connected to. There's so much more information given on the CLIENTS tab for wireless connections, but on the Wired connection unless the device support LLDP then its totally missing. I think this is pretty poor to help in investigations into what is happening for clients that plug in physically using Ethernet.

Assuming Insight relies on some abilty to locally connect to a registered device, then if the device on which Insight is running and the registered Netgear device are not on the same subnet, then Insight will likely be unable to connect to the device. To remedy this, a couple of ideas: Allow the Netgear device to report its local IP address to the cloud and allow the Insight app to retrieve this address so that it can then reach the device. Allow the Insight user to manually enter the local IP address of the device so that Insight can reach it.

Having recently (less than 18 months) deployed multiple GS728TPP switches, and now deploying new offices with the Insight management series, it would be great to have a firmware update to allow these older switches to be managed.
I would be willing to pay for the firmware upgrade for this functionality! (rather than have to replace each switch!)

Hi, Using Insight we can do a speedtest to see how fast the connection is. I’m using a PR60X with a 4Gbps fibre connection but running speedtest from the router (both via Insight or the local GUI) it doe not reflects my line speed. Using a computer wired connected to the 10Gbps lan port is works just fine BUT I have to select a specific speedtest server. It seems not all servers ready for testing a high speed connection. So I would like to have a feature what gives me the option to select a speedtest server manually! Rgd Rob

I offer RBK 352 model to several businesses, and I need to manage it later after installation, but in the Orbi app, I can only mark it with the model name as in the picture. In situations where you have to manage like me, it should have to easily know which model is which business. I hope I can change the name instead of the model name so that I can know easier.

Hi It's a bit confusing that in the Insight App I'm told that the BR200 Router is mentioned as a Insight Instant VPN or add to a router. But when I'm trying to create or add to a VPN group, It' doesn't support VPN. It seems like the BR500 is a far better product than the BR200.

We have an email inbox for the status of all system alerts, all software we use on other sites correctly identifies the system alerting and the device and status in the subject so we can react to the information as soon as it comes up, with the exception of the Insight alerts. Would it possible for some kind developer in the Insights system to add the device name label to the front of each alerting email's subject line so we can have a full set of systems working like this without having to go through each individual email body text to see what it relates to, please ?
