Hello,
My compagnie has just provided me a NETGEAR GS108T and asked me to programmaticaly disable a specified port.
To do that, I need to do it manually first with CLI.
I have successfully connected to the SWITCH with telnet. According to a NETGEAR CLI user manual, I need to enter these following commands to disable a port :
#config #interface 1/0/2
#shutdown and other commands
But when I write "#interface 1/0/2" to access to the 2nd port, the switch reply "unknow command"
What did I do wrong ? Probably this model of switch is not compatible with all CLI commands ?
Thank you,
Gautier

Hi @GautierS49,
The GS108T does not support CLI commands.
Instead, you'll need to access the admin page of the switch by typing its IP address via web browser and going to Switching > Ports > Port Configuration then check g2 and set its port speed to Disable.
Once done, click Apply to confirm its settings.
Please let us know if you encounter any issues.
