[GC108P] When connected to port 7, it is always 'Connected & Powered'

Hello.

I am sorry that I am not good at English.

I purchased and installed the GC108P.

PoE seems to be enabled even if it is connected to a computer or router that does not support PoE, and to an upper switch.

Only port 7 and the rest is fine. I wonder if this is an app bug or a bad machine.
(The LAN cable used is different.)

Thanks for reading.

If a factory reset with removal a d re-add the switch to Insight does not recover from the strange port status, suspect it's a hardware issue on the switch.

Re: [GC108P] When connected to port 7, it is always 'Connected & Powered'

After seeing the explanation below, I tried to connect again after initialization, but port 7 still seems to be a problem.

Thank you for your help.

[Return the switch to its factory default settings.] After you use the NETGEAR
Insight app to remove the switch from your network, press the Reset button for
at least five seconds.
The switch restarts and returns to its factory default settings. During this process,
the Power/Cloud LED lights amber.
