GC728X Switching

Hello,

Does the Netgear GC728X and GC752X series switches have a CAM table?  Does the switch send traffic based on the MAC address or does it send the traffic out all ports?  If VLANs are configured on the switch does it only send to all ports participating in the VLAN or does it base it's switching decision on the MAC address?

Yes, of course.

Of course it does use the MAC table, except when it has to find the correct port to populate the MAC table.

Each VLAN makes up it's own network.
