Re: What is the meaning of "Admin Down" ?
Administrative down - by admin control, or potentially downed by security and STP/RSTP/MSTP? Can't see the screenshot yet I'm afraid - but have seen the label and in one occurrence a port which was "admin down" (suspect loop playing with some other devices).
PS. Ajit I'm glad you are here, started to feel being wrong alone with all my comments, observations, and limitation/bug reports.

Re: What is the meaning of "Admin Down" ?
Hello,
Was there anything on going at the time when the port disabled? Can you attempt to disable and re-enable the port by going to the switch settings, select the port in question > settings > and toggle the enable port to off.

Would be interesting to see if there were any notification indicating the port was taken down (along with a reason).
