APIPA and IGMP Blocking
Question regarding how IGMP groups are handled. The devices we are implementing use both APIPA and dynamically learned IP sources for sending IGMP responses. It seems the IGMP membership and groups only accept a member if it comes from an address which is associated with the interface and responses from the APIPA are not recognized. Is this expected behavior for the Netgear switches? We are not seeing this problem with other switch manufacturers as both are accepted and added to the IGMP group table on the non-netgear switches. Turning off validate IGMP header also does not solve the issue.
Thank you,
Dave

Hi @davhall85
Welcome to community!
May I know your network detail info as below?
How about your network topo? Does all ports under default VLAN1? Do you enable IGMP Snooping on global and VLAN?
BTW, could you please share the outputs info for below command?
