GSM7328v2 - Multicast routing question
I have a need to set up (on my GSM7328Sv2) Multicast routing for 254.0.100.250 between 10.100.49.38/16 (on network segment connected to port 24) to several devices on network segment connected to port 1 (10.201.x.x/16).
IP routing has been working just fine. No VLAN routing is needed nor configured. This Multicast routing is a new requirement.
I've not been able to sort out the plethora of options available in the Routing --> Multicast menu(s).
This requirement comes from the need for a WC7520 (Wireless Management Console) to "discover" the access points across the router.
Thanks for any help here.
Bob

Re: GSM7328v2 - Multicast routing question
Does anyone know of a Netgear forum where the expertise exists that can discuss these kinds of questions? I certainly do not want to discuss Multicast routing, only the tools Netgear is providing to implement what I want. It's probably just me but I'm sorry, I find the suite of tools very confusing.

Re: GSM7328v2 - Multicast routing question
Using the Cisco manuals I believe I've found all the various Netgear menu pages that have to be addressed. Time will tell. Very strange support infrastructure we have here. A lot of good talent we have; for that I'm thankful.
