I do not have the login and password but cannot find how to otherwise reset the switch to factory defaults? There isnt a noticeable factory default pin button on the device, and when I connect a console cable i only see it applying configuration, then global configuraiton, then interface configuration followed by asking for a user name. No menu to interrupt the boot sequence or such as some threads seem to discuss.
Is there an internal reset button or something I can do to wipe to factory defaults?

Well after many many articles and not finding how I looked at one more which reference pressing Q when it was starting and the menu would come up in the serial interface. It worked! Solved.
