Inquiry about protocol setting

We plan to use 802 authentication system.

Please let me know about default setting of protocol when we use 802.x authentication with M4300 datasheet.

(PAP or CHAP)

If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Thanks and best regards,

Model: GSM4328S|M4300-28G - Stackable Managed Switch with 24x1G and 4x10G including 2x10GBASE-T and 2xSFP+ Layer 3

Re: Inquiry about protocol setting

The switch does not care what you implement on the client authenticator and the authentication server. 802.1x makes use of EAP (Extensible Authentication Protocol) to facilitate communication from the supplicant to the authenticator and from the authenticator to the authentication server.
