Hi everybody!
I needed to make a factory reset at job of a Netgear4100-26G and I didn´t know how (because this exact modell doesn´t have factory default button). A college recommended
me to push the reset button and at the same time connecting the power supply. For my surprise it did a hard reset and now I´m completely lost trying to reinstall the firmware. Does anyone know how to? Anyone with links to documentations around my issue? Any help is welcomed!
Switch Modell: Netgear4100-26G
Working Station or trying to repair thru: Debian 10 Machine
Thanks

The firmware is almost certainly in place.
Start with the fine documentation https://www.netgear.com/support/product/M4100-26G%20%28GSM7224v2h2%29.aspx#docs , specifically NETGEAR Intelligent Edge Managed Switches Installation Guide M4100 Series

Re: Install Firmware after Hard-Reset Netgear4100-26G
Thanks for the quick answer! But now I have a bigger issue than before. The hardware manual says the next:
3. Check the Power LED on the front panel of the switch.
The LED should light in the following sequence:
• The LED turns yellow as the switch runs a power-on self-test (POST).
• If the switch passes the test, the LED turns green. The switch is working and ready to
pass data.
• If the POST fails, the Power LED blinks yellow.
And that´s happening to me. It doesn´t stop blinking an now I´m afraid that I burned the power supply. I´m trying to find info about it, but it doesn´t say anything about this issue on switches
