M4100-12G-POE+ (GSM7212P).failed after Update
Hello community,
I have a problem with my switch, M4100-12G-POE+ (GSM7212P).
I wanted to update it and loaded the current firmware onto the switch via the web interface. After the firmware was at 100%, the switch stopped responding.
Now after I plug the connector no longer happens. The Power LED flashes quickly and the FAN LED lights up.
I've tried linking the switch using the CLI, but after powering up the terminal doesn't have any output.
I have tried both usb and db9, I confirmed that my pc interface and cable are normal.
Can you help me get the switch working again?

Welcome to the community! 🙂
Just to verify. Since you have tried to access your M4100-12G-POE+ via CLI, are the settings correct? Be informed that the correct settings to access the CLI are indicated below:
Speed (baud): 115200
Data Bits: 8
Stop Bits: 1
Parity: None
Flow Control: XON/XOFF
Let me share the article below as reference guide:
If you were able to access the boot menu, please try to perform a factory reset as indicated in the boot menu.

Thank you for your response. 🙂 If the screenshot means that you already tried it but still the same problem, I advise you to open an online support ticket with NETGEAR Support here at anytime for a hardware check. If ever your M4100-12G-POE+ has been proven faulty, please be ready to submit a soft copy of its Proof of Purchase or Sales Invoice for warranty verification. If the hardware warranty is still valid, an online replacement will be processed.
