M4100-26-POE IPV6 DHCP Relay
Hello,
We use M4100's on our QA network. We are testing a device that uses DHCP V6. We need to test the device on the 'other side' of a DHCPV6 relay to validate proper behavior.
I've looked through the manual for the 4100, there is no specific reference to DHCP V6. It won't take an IPV6 address in the UDP relay field (which is where we put the DHCP server for our IPV4 DHCP testing). Is there some other mechanism for 'standard' IPV6 relay?
If you could provide guidance or point me at reference material that provides specific instructions for IPV6 DHCP relay (command line or browser admin GUI is fine) I would be very appreciative.
If the M4100's don't support it, are there other L3 switches in the netgear line that do?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: M4100-26-POE IPV6 DHCP Relay
Welcome to our community! 🙂
Only our M4300 series supports the DHCPv6 Relay and you may also check the CLI commands on page 507 of the Software Administration Guide.
I hope it helps!

John
