M4300-48X and ReadyNAS 4312X 10G NIC connection unstable

Greetings,

I am experiencing this 10G NIC issue almost on a daily basis, seems to have gotten worse since the latest M4300 firmware update.

I have logs from M4300 and ReadyNAS 4312X upon request...

Re: M4300-48X and ReadyNAS 4312X 10G NIC connection unstable

@jpass022,

What cable are you using between the M4300-48X and ReadyNAS 4312X?  Is it a CAT 6 or CAT6A or CAT7 ethernet cable?

I suggest the following below to isolate the problem:

a. Try to change the cable you are using between the M4300-48X and ReadyNAS 4312X.

b. Try using other ports of the M4300-48X.

c. Reboot the both M4300-48X and ReadyNAS 4312X.

Re: M4300-48X and ReadyNAS 4312X 10G NIC connection unstable

Using all CAT7 cables with my M4300 switches. tried different ports and reboots as suggested. Seeing the same with other Linux servers that are using bonded interfaces connected to the M4300 switches.

@jpass022,

Thank you for the feedback.  Since the same problem is seen on the Linux servers that are using bonded interfaces connected to the M4300 switches, it would be best that you open a support ticket with NETGEAR Support here at anytime.  Kindly state your concern as well as attach the logs you obtained.
