M4300 8x8F - using a LAG on two stacked devices to vSphere
Hi all,
we have to M4300 8x8F devices stacked and i have configured a LAG (hash mode 6 src/dst IP) using one port of each device (1/0/15 + 2/0/15) to connect to a VMWare vSpere Host (ESXi 6.5 u1).
On Esx side nic teaming is configured using mode "route based on IP hash", which worked fine in the past, e.g. on a GS728TX (S3300).
With the M4300 the problem is that connection is lost when enabling both ports for the LAG. Having the LAG active, but using just one port is working fine.
Is there anything wrong using this hash modes? I would appreciate any help.
Kind reagards,
Wolfgang
