Management VLAN down
Hi,
I have to configure an old Netgear Pro Safe M5300 switch. Firmware version is 11.0.0.18. I'm not able to connect to the web console through the IP address. I've set the IP address with ezconfig. But when I plug in with a network cable I get no ping to that IP address. When I run teh command 'show network' I see that the 'Interface status' is 'Down'. I think this is the problem. How can I get the status to 'Up'?
Thanks in advance,
Marc

Re: Management VLAN down
Could be, can you share a (redacted) output of show running-config so we could check where and on which VLAN the IP is configured?

Re: Management VLAN down
Hi @Marcusb67
Please use Mangement VLAN 1 instead of Network interface to access the switch.
This is the one key change after upgrade M5300 image from v10.0.0.x to v11.0.0.x
For the detailed info, please check the Release Notes by click here
interface vlan 1
routing
ip address 172.20.10.112 255.255.0.0
exit
ip default-gateway 172.20.10.254
exit
