Netgear FSM7328S switch
Hi,
There is a switch FSM7328S. The problem with that does not boot from the internal program (FirmWare). Can anyone help? In this case can be re-loaded on the FW? After switching on, the PWR LED yellow light (about 45 seconds) then yellow blinking. The Master led can nnot operating. The serial port can not responding.
Can anyone help me?
Many thanks:
Gyorgy

Contact Tech Support. It is most likely bricked and will need to be replaced.

Re: Netgear FSM7328S switch
Hi,
After a long trial the COM port responding. The following messages show:
U-Boot 0.3.0 (Jun 28 2006 - 13:12:54)
Board: Netgear FSM73xxS
DRAM: 128 MB
Flash: 16 MB
But does not boot on the switch.
It is likely that the switch is dead? Can not be recovered?
It's like you have received a "Format" command.

Re: Netgear FSM7328S switch
U-Boot is the hardware OS, basically the BIOS, before the firmware is loaded.
If that is all you get then I think it is bricked.
