Power Supply requirement
Dear Sir/Mdm,
May I know what is the power supply requirement for managed switch model M4100-D12G, namely
1) Input supply voltage ( Minimum, Nominal, Maximum)
2) Current required
I looked at document "M4100_HIG_EN.pdf" (Hardware Installation Guide) dd August 2106. There seems to be little information on this , except a diagram figure 14 indicating 48V, 1.67A
Refer to link : http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/M4100/M4100_HIG_20Nov2013.pdf
Clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated...
Thank you for your attention

Re: Power Supply requirement
Hi AllyAmir
Welcome to the Community!
Hardware installation guide covers entire M4100 switch series, let me answer your question about specific PSU.
M4100-D12G (GSM5212) external power adapter shows following requirements:
- INPUT: 100-240V AC 50/60Hz 0.8A
- OUTPUT: 12V DC 2.5A
I hope this helps -

Re: Power Supply requirement
Hi Laurent,
Thanks for the quick response.
Another question is model M4100-D12G (GSM5212) still in production and available for purchase?
I heard from my local distributor (in Singapore) that this model is end of life, is this information correct?
Regards
Ally Amir

Re: Power Supply requirement
Hi AllyAmir
Welcome to the Community!
The M4100-D12G (GSM5212) model isn't end of life: the product is shipping everywhere in the world.
But in your Asia Pacific region, we only have GSM5212-100NES version available, shipping with UK and Euro connectors for the external power supply.
Regards,
