ProSafe M4100-24G (GSM7224P) EPS POE

Does anyone have experience using the GSM7224P switch with the RPS4000 in EPS mode? The switch will seemlessly switch to the RPS if I pull the main power but seems unable to use the RPS4000 in EPS mode to get the 720W POE budget specified in the documentation. I've got the A/B switch on the back of the RPS4000 set to A, as specified in the manual, but other documentation seems to indicate that A is RPS mode and B is EPS mode. But, I didn't see any change when it was set to B either.

Does anyone know what I have to do to get to the full 720W POE budget?

Thanks

Hi @MooreG

I just did a test in the lab and I come across the same behaviour as you describe. I have queried this with R&D. I will let you know once I have an answer.

Cheers!
