SSH no accesible with 12.0.17.7 firmware

Hello,

I have recently upgraded a stack of two M4300-28G units to version 12.0.17.7.

I have reconfigured the passwords as indicated in the release notes but access via SSH does not work. The access via web and telnet, yes.

When I am asked for the "enable" password I get the following message:

(Stack_Access1) >
Server sent disconnect message
type 2 (protocol error):
"couldn't connect to emWeb, socket failed, 2 No such file or directory".

Could someone tell me how to fix it?

Kindly try to reboot the M4300-28G stack then check if the SSH access will work.

If reboot won't work, kindly access the web-GUI.  Go to Security > Access > SSH > SSH Configuration.  If the SSH Admin Mode, is currently set to Disable, select Enable then click Apply.  Otherwise,  if the SSH Admin Mode, is already set to Enable, select Disable then click Apply then select Enable and click Apply.  Afterwards, check if the SSH access will work.
