Switching POE Ports via HTTP request (API)

Hi,
i am using M4100-26G-POE and GS728TPv2.
To save energy, the ports must be switched off depending on use.
The central control only can send http requests.
Is there any simple way to operate the POE ports?
Best regards
Hannes

Two very different models. however, both support industry standard control, being SNMP, being CLI.

Both SNMP and CLI does offer controls to disable and enable switch ports.

Whatever wonderful piece of "design" that is: There are no standardized generic APIs using http transport - there is no reason, the available standards are definitively sufficient. Sorry Hannes...

Yes: SNMP, CLI, manufacturer Web UI, Netgear Insight Cloud management (for switches supporting Insight Cloud).
