VLAN Routing Help
I have an old FSM726v3 switch. I would like to create 2 Vlans, one for my computers vlan1 (192.168.1.x) and another vlan200 (192.168.200.x) for a couple of crypto miners. I defined both vlans and did the port PVID configuration. Ports 15 and 16 route to VLAN200
Now I would like that the VLAN200 can't access the VLAN1, but both VLANs should access internet. My internet is on 192.168.1.1. Don't know how to do this part, also VLAN1 should see VLAN200
The problem I have is that on the routing page I can only see IP and ARP menus and under IP there is only statistics, I can see anything to activate the routing (checked online) why I'm missing the routing options ?
How should I properly configure everything ? and why I'm missing the routing menus ?
Thanks a lot

Re: VLAN Routing Help
Hello Drakecoldwinter
And welcome to the NETGEAR Community! 🙂
If I may ask do you have DHCP server for both VLANs? If yes, you may just member the port where the DHCP server is connected on the switch. Make sure the port membership of each ports are added to respective VLAN and removed as well from respective VLAN. Also the PVID of each port should be the same as the VLAN ID where they are a member for VLAN? Now for the for the permissions and restrictions of access you may need to configure ACL on ports. You may chech pages 610-612 from the link below for the configuration.

Re: VLAN Routing Help
As my switch is a L2, I can't do routing. I have installed OpenWRT on a secondary router and will use it with the switch to define the VLans and route them with OpenWRT.
Thanks

Hello Drakecoldwinter
Okay, keep us posted if you were able to route them with OpenWRT.

Re: VLAN Routing Help
Dank Erwin!
Is there -by any change- more recent (beta-) firmware available?
I connect to the gui with a mac. The java embeds are not working, Neither are the non-java frames. Is there something to do about that?
And is there somehow something to tweak on the fans? They are blowing full force constantly what seems to be a bit overdone...
Best regards,
Martin

Re: VLAN Routing Help
Hello PDAHazzard
We apologize, but the FSM726v3 switch is an older model, and firmware updates are no longer available for it. If you're having trouble accessing the UI with your Mac, could you try using a Windows machine? Regarding the fans, unfortunately, there is no option to modify their performance.
Have a lovely day,
