WOL through a XS728T

We're looking at doing WOL on our LAN however we are not having much success

Our current setup is 3 HP Z840 Wokstations, an Intel Skullcanyon NUC and all going through a XS728T. Currently these are on a seperate VLAN to other systems, however all machines used in the WOL setup are present within this VLAN. We've setup all the machines BIOS' to accept magic packets etc... which we have success performing in through a smaller 5 port linksys gigabit switch, however once it all moves over to the XS728T we have no luck. Are there any settings on the switch that need to be changed to accept WOL???

Thanks, Cameron.

Re: WOL through a XS728T

Hi cameron-minto,

Welcome to our community!

It should work anyway as magic packets are just a layer 2 packet to a mac address. Please try to disable the flow control on the switch.

Please check the manual here(page 86).
