Web Config via Management VLAN but not pingable

Hi community,
It might be a simple task to enable ping replies on a M4300 but I am not getting it.
I can access the switch via Web Config (HTTP) but unable to ping. Same management VLAN without routing.
Thanks a lot and best regards.

I found out that you do have a "no ip icmp echo-reply" command that causes your switch not to respond to ping.
You may just enable it by typing the command "ip icmp echo-reply".

Re: Web Config via Management VLAN but not pingable
Hi star0815,
May you be able to share us the running configuration of the switch? You may send it to me via pm.
I'll look forward to your reply.

Re: Web Config via Management VLAN but not pingable
Hi @JohnC_V,
thanks for your reply.
Made some tests to identify the misconfiguration.
Ping from management station to switch is not working (no answer).
Reverse ping from switch to management station is working.
Nets are not routed, same VLAN and no firewalls in between.
Ping from directly connected uplink switch to this switch is not working, reverse is.
This switch is configured as stack unit "7" (the only unit in this stack config).
Uplink switch is connected via transceiver F24-NG-AXM761 on port 7/0/51.
Will send switch config via PM.
Thanks a lot!

Re: Web Config via Management VLAN but not pingable
I don't think that there is a setting that will make the ICMP reply to be affected. Also, this is enabled by default. We all know that before we deploy the switch we need to test it first if we do have a connection or replies coming from it.
