Re: When is the date of end of support/life for M4300-28G

Hi @gregz3x ,

Thank you for your question. To date, there is no End of Life process planned for our M4300 series. I can't tell you about future end of support/life because this is unknown, but I can ensure you the M4300 series is all active with a great period of time ahead.

I hope this helps,

Regards,

Re: When is the date of end of support/life for M4300-28G

Hello,

I see from https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CU4DAZA/ and many other resellers that the NETGEAR GSM4328S-100NES / m4300-28g is being reported by sellers as "Discontinued by Manufacturer"

If that is true, what model replaced the NETGEAR GSM4328S-100NES / m4300-28g as a low-power non PoE switch?

https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/datasheet/en/M4300.pdf

claims:

M4300-28G: 34.5W max

and

M4300-52G: 47.4W max

Thanks!

I tried web chat, but they didn't know, so they sent me to sales by phone number and email.

I tried calling the number for sales, but after waiting 20 minutes on hold, was told that was an enterprise sales issue, and they transferred me, where I waited on hold for 3 hours before giving up.

I've tried sending 4 different emails to sales@netgear.com without response.

Maybe online forums will work where web chat failed, and phone call failed and email has failed.

Thanks!

Re: When is the date of end of support/life for M4300-28G

Hi @SomeNewUser ,

M4300-28G (GSM4328S-100xxx) and M4300-52G (GSM4352S-100xxx) are active, there are not discontinued.

The reason why Amazon or other E-com websites are showing them as stopped or discontinued is because NETGEAR doesn't sell Managed Switches (www.netgear.com/managed) through E-com channels.

M4250, M4300, M4350, M4500 series only sell through Value Added Resellers and DMRs worldwide.

There is no planned EOL date for M4300-28G and M4300-52G yet, at this stage.

I don't know where you are, please let me know? You can reach out to ProAVDesign@netgear.com by email for quick answer, we will send you to a NETGEAR Account Manager right away in your country.

Cheers,
