Which 8-port switch with a more fine-grained QoS/port rate limiting?

Hi I have a GS108Ev3-8 switch which supports port rate limiting. Unfortunately, the choosable values are fixed:

512 Kbit/s, ..., 64 MBit/s, 128 MBit/s, 256 MBit/s, 512 MBit/s

This is not fine-grained enough for me. I need a limit of 200 Mbit/s for a single port. Which switch does support this kind of setting? I have taken a look into many Netgear switch manuals. It seems most of them only supports the same fixed values like above. The only two switches which differed from this description are:

GS308T-100
https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/GS308T/GS308T_GS310TP_UM_EN.pdf

GS108T-300
http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/GS108Tv3/GS108Tv3_GS110TPv3_GS110TPP_UM_EN.pdf

Is one of them the right one for me?

I would prefer a limitation by shaping the traffic instead of using a policy. Look at the differences here:

Thanks for advices.

Kind regards

@Fin64,

Welcome to the community! 🙂

Kindly check the M4300-8X8F (also other M4300 Series Switch Models).  The M4300-8X8F is a fully-managed switch with eight 10G copper ports and eight 10G fiber ports.  You can configure QoS (Quality of Service) in order to set the bandwidth on every port.

Furthermore, let me share this old forum thread here then read the response of LaurentMa (Message 4 of 4) and it might help.
