Gen I Meural Not Recognizing Network

I just bought a new router that has a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6 antenna in addition to a 5GHz antenna. I know that the original generation Meural cannot connect to a 5GHz network, but I am going through the setup to connect to a new network and the Meural isn't even recognizing that the new network exists, even though I have the 2.4GHz network enabled. I can't even select the "Other" option at the bottom of the network list to manually enter the network details. How do I fix this?
