Unable to Delete a Number of Photos

I am unable to delete a number of photos from the Meural Canvas App.

  • The photos always show up in the "All Uploads" folder no matter what I do.
  • These photos have the linked photo icon but they are not in my linked folder.
  • If I try to delete these photos I receive the message:
"Note that items from Linked Albums can only be deleted using the native photos app."

Things I have tried:

  1. Unlinking all albums.
  2. Deleting the photos from my iPhone.
  3. Reseting the Canvas frame.
  4. Deleting the Canvas App from my iPhone and then reinstalling it.
  5. Restarting my iPhone.

Despite all this the same photos always appear as linked photos the All Uploads folder... and then they synch with my Canvas frame. I am guessing they must be cloud cached with Netgear somehow.

How can I get these deleted?

Re: Unable to Delete a Number of Photos

Figured it out finally...

  1. Login to: my.meural.com (using your Netgear account)
  2. Delete the photos there.

Couple of things Netgear might address:

  1. The existence of my.meural.com accounts should be better noted. Didn't know my.meural.com accounts existed until digging deep into this.
  2. App software should have been able to delete the unlinked images.
  3. App software shouldn't have showed those images as linked when they were not.

Hope this helps someone else.
