was wondering if the artwork/galleries that we have uploaded in the meural app are continuously accessing the cloud when displaying them... or if they saved local after uploaded? we bought my father a meural 2 for the holidays, and he lives far out in the country, with internet bandwidth caps. it seems he has been going over his allotment, and we are trying to find the culprit(s).
if it is constantly accessing the gallery cloud, can you estimate how much bandwith that uses in a day? we may need to upload the galleries onto an sd card, and go that route moving forward... but if anyone can let us know before we go that "drastic", i would appreciate it.
Once the Meural canvas has downloaded your images (or playlists), all of the images are stored locally (Also if the Meural canvas loses Internet connection, it will continue to play your images since they are stored locally).. The Merual will regularly check the Meural cloud aqccount to make sure that there aren't any changes or updates needed, but this will use very little bandwidth unless it is updated to a new firmware (which is infrequent).
