Because I was an early adopter. I was granted a Lifetime Membership before Netgear took over. I could also store and access tons of Artworks and access them on the cloud. Now I'm down to being able to store about 8 Artwork images unless I "upgrade" my membership.
When and how did this happen and has anyone had any success in getting their storage back without being extorted into having to pay for it again?
BTW if memory serves, I paid around $750 for my MC227 Canvas I. That's a bunch more more than a Canvas II costs today. Those extra $$ have to have been a part of the earlier business model and pricing, IMO.
I wrote to Meural after this message and it looks like they are giving me my storage back. This would be a fine move if they come through. Will keep eveyone informed of outcome.
