AC791L offers dual band...what determines which band a device will connect to? Can this be forced?
My AC791L offers both 2.4 and 5GHz bands. When set to dual bands, I only see ONE hotspot. What determines which band any given device will connect to? I am not too concerned about weak signal issues as the house is small, but most devices I have can use the faster 5GHz and that is what I would prefer they connect to, but find most end up on the 2.4 GHz band. Is there a way to force to one or the other band?
Or can the two bands both show up like my Nighthawk does?

The wireless clients are deciding - based on signal level and quality evaluation.
These WiFi Hotspot units are typically made to cover a very small range only.
