AC797 and AC810 as failover
Greetings All
Happy New Year.
I'm looking for a mobile router that I can use as a broadband failover (when my VDSL line drops) and as a mobile router when going on holiday.
So, just a question: can either AC797 or AC810 be used as failover modems running on AC power, i.e. being connected to the mains (but, with the battery being removed to avoid situations when batteries swell/explode)?
Thank you.

Re: AC797 and AC810 as failover
AC797 and AC810 don't support failover and no battery operation. You need to get newer devices, such as MR1100, MR2100 and MR5200, etc.
Thanks
