Unfortunately this same issue has been reported for years now. Netgear have clearly given up on it so don't waste your time waiting for some action from them. The cradle the Wifi box without cradle has no issues, so consign the cradle to door stop duties.

The same issues for me too:
Hardware Version | DC112A V1.0 |
Firmware Version | V1.0.0.34_1.0.60 |
GUI Language Version | V1.0.0.34_2.1.38.3 |
Dear Netgear, if you do not plan to fix it, than please make the Firmware OpenSource!
Maybe the issues are coming from the WiFi Chips, but I really would give a try with an alternative Firmware like DD-WRT first.
The Router was really expensive and in this way it is nearly useless, so please do something.

Ok, my fault, I guess I found already the OpenSource:
https://kb.netgear.com/2649/NETGEAR-Open-Source-Code-for-Programmers-GPL
But it seems there still no alternative Firmware until now:

Re: DC112A AirCard Smart Cradle - Devices have issues re-connecting to WiFi
My plan will be to update somehow the Broadcom Driver in the Firmware Source Code, but I really do not have at the moment the time for that.
My colleague had a Linksys WRT1900ACv2 Router and had exact the same issues with that and therefore I’m guess it is more an issue with the WLAN hardware (e.g. driver).
Now with DD-WRT, the router is running just fine.
But in the meantime, maybe I found a quick and dirty solution which could help.
I’m still playing with the values around, but since nearly two weeks I didn’t faced the issues again, but could be for sure because of some other reasons.
I know it is too early to say if it is helping or not, but maybe some of you would like to try this as well.
"Advanced Setup" -> "Wireless Settings"
- The higher the value, the faster the speed and therefore try this first:
Fragmentation Length (256-2346): 1955
CTS/RTS Threshold (1-2347): 1956
- When is not helping, maybe you want to give a second try with:
Fragmentation Length (256-2346): 1173
CTS/RTS Threshold (1-2347): 1174

Don’t buy this cradle/router.
