Re: MR100 Nighthawk giving a Strict NAT and and a double NAT
The only way you can get an Open NAT type using any hotspot including the Nighthawk MR1100 when on AT&T LTE is if you have a Static IP provisioned which they only offer if you have a business wireless line. ATT has a carrier grade NAT and it causes you to get the double NAT and Strict NAT on your Xbox. Port forwarding and putting your Xbox in the hotspots DMZ won't make any difference.
Most things should still work on your Xbox though but if they don't call ATT Wireless support and have them open a support ticket for what isn't. More people complaining is the only way ATT will ever address the issue. If you unlock your MR1100 and put a Verizon SIM in it you'll be able to get at least a Moderate NAT type.
