MR1100 FCC Filings and Hardware Information
FYI, for those tech aficionado out there, lots of interesting information in the FCC filings for the MR1100.
Some highlights:
1) Not clear if version 1 of the hardware (like I have) will do this as they are also rev'ing the model number from MR1100-320 to MR1100-330 but FCC filings clearly list software enabled Class II permissive changes:
Band 14 capability by software update:

Band 46 (LAA) capability by firmware update?
Interesting. I cannot seem to find / don't have access to these pages anymore on the FCC website. Perhaps I'm remembering wrong? Funny. I had to look up Band 46 because I didn't know what it was.

2) small, rather puny PIFA antennas are used for all RF chains. The 2x2 MIMO for Wifi is clearly visable in the internal pictures. The LTE MIMO??? not so much. Also cannot really tell how the two TS-9's are hooked up. They seem to run to contacts on the edge of the mainboard which then touch contact pads on the PIFA antennas around the plastic housing. I'll have to review the RF test reports in more details, while I am clearly seeing CA test reports, I'm not sure I noticed any LTE MIMO testing -- but I may have overlooked it.

Re: MR1100 FCC Filings and Hardware Information
Ahh, it seems the FCC site doesn't let you browse urls to document numbers directly.
Anyway here's a snippet of text from the RF testing report:
RF Test Report-22/24/27 Test Report 03/08/2018
"Add band46 (only Rx) by software.
The model name is also changed from MR1100-320 to MR1100-330."
The document goes on to test various band 46 CA scenarios with Band 2 and Band 66.
Wow, that would be outstanding if AT&T/Netgear can add Bands 14 and 46 to our existing devices with just a software update.
