MR5200 Firmware Update Not Working

I have an MR5200 that I just received as an RMA, but it is on an older firmware than the one it replaced (NTGX55_12.03.09.00 versus NTGX55_12.04.10.01). When I run the firmware update tool, it just shows as "checking" indefinitely. I contacted support, but was told to contact my carrier. However, AT&T and T-Mobile won't provide any support for this unbranded device. There must be more that Netgear can do to help with this? Why can't firmware be manually updated like the MR1100?

Ok, this seems to have resolved itself this morning. Firmware update was successful (NTGX55_12.04.10.01). We also have another MR5200 that is now able to run a check and shows as up-to-date. Perhaps something was down on Netgear's end yesterday.
