MR5200 as a bridge/modem for Unifi Dream Machine (UDM)
Hey Guys,
I've just bought a MR5200 as a 5G modem for my Unifi Dream Machine System. Before using this one we had a LM1200 4G in bridge mode working well with the UDM.
As I read The MR5200 doesn't have a brigde mode but almost the same functionality with "IP Passthrough". Unfortunately the WAN IP address (in our case of Telekom Germany) will not be transported to the WAN port of the UDM.
Has anybody an idea how I can get the MR5200 working in the same way as a bridge/modem as the LM1200 before?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards
Andre

Re: MR5200 as a bridge/modem for Unifi Dream Machine (UDM)
Connect the computer directly to the modem Ethernet (LAN) port.
Click Start > Run > Type cmd (command for Windows) and press Enter.
On the command prompt, type ipconfig and hit Enter.
To view your IP address on Mac computers or Windows 8, see What is the IP address of my NETGEAR router?
If the IP Address displayed under Ethernet Adapter Local Area Connection is either 192.168.x.x or 10.0.x.x, then the modem should be bridged.
Call your Internet Service Provider to set the modem to bridge mode.
You can also try changing LAN IP address of router.
Log in to the router user interface and change IP address to 192.168.2.1 or 10.0.0.1 under LAN Setup (ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup).
