It looks like that MR1100 retail will be launched Q2. I hope Netgear developers have learned lessons considering update delivery of their flagship mobile router. We are waiting for that AC810 update....

When AC810 is used for many many hours continuously for example from morning to evening download speed may drop drasticly. I have seen this many times. This is not an network congestion issue because cell phone gives much better download speed then. After AC810 reboot, download speed restores to normal level.

I've seen it done once. But after a factory reset this error never repeated. Strange glitch.

In my case factory resets did not solve this glitch.

A netgear moderator contacted me in pm and asking me to highlight the issues i underlined to submit it to the technical team

I send my aircard photo to show my product problem over one month before just let them to know that problem very affect normal use, in Hong Kong netgear engineer try to send 2 times email ask R&D about firmware question ,until today I never received any response how and how long to fix product problem

I can't see netgear give any firmware update information maybe I doubt netgear no any action to update software just deceive us

I hope technical team responsible for the firmware update release understand this is MISSION CRITICAL thing from customer point of view. Getting that firmware release out during February as told. We had to wait for too long.

Until today I never received any engineer update about firmware,netgear Hong kong agent help me to send email ask R&D department .but not any responses so I believe ac810s maybe cannot get new firmware in feb no any netgear staff can say what time can OTA firmware.

Wonder why netgear opens a community forum if they dont follow what is said inside ,it seems that registering and posting in this forum is simply a waste if time and a useless business

Probably the moderator is in a endless sleep .netgear is interested only in collecting money the rest is simple detail.we have to leave to another brand devices (huawei) where support is a must have sercice

I was asked to patience and they know we are frustrated. QA team is doing their job with update. Release cannot be far that is my conclusion as I try to keep my mood positive.

Absolutely great news! Did you notice +20...33 % boost to downlink performance ? What's your download speed with 256-QAM ? It would be great If you could share your signal values as reference when 256-QAM is enabled.

Some more questions considering 256-QAM. AC810 '4G details" screen has that Quality indicator. It is a percentage value 0 -100 %. What's your quality value ? What is your physical distance to mast when 256-QAM is active ?
