is this the best model available for a home 4g router?

i currently have the 

NETGEAR MR1100-100EUS Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot Router but the signal around the home from it it pretty poor

any help would be much appreciated thank you

MR1100 does have TS-9 antenna connector, I am using this antenna, FYI.

With an 1 Giga-POE Splitter and a good Antenna you need lower transmit current and so it work without AKKU

But I have to test it for longer time . I have one Case in Car and one Case in the roof for short Antenna cabels and easy plug and play
